Examination and promotion regulation

In accordance with Section 6.3.3. from the statute of the Romanian Yumeiho Society, Yumeiho therapy initiation and improvement courses are held under the coordination of this institution. These courses are organized in collaboration with the International Institute of Practical Preventive Medicine (I.I.P.P.M.) from Tokyo – Japan.
This regulation was drafted by Mr. Dr. Masayuki Saionji, founder of Yumeiho therapy, and approved by Master Hashimoto Shigeru, Director of the International Institute of Practical Preventive Medicine in Tokyo – Japan.

The examination and promotion conditions are as follows:

1) To obtain the 1st degree the following are required:

• theoretical and practical acquirement of elementary level standard Yumeiho therapy, less joint manipulations applied to the spine;
• basic knowledge regarding the definition and purpose of the therapy;
• basic knowledge regarding the basic signs of the of coxal dislocations ;
• basic knowledge of indications and counteraindications in applying the therapy;
• basic knowledge of human body anatomy (11th grade biology manual).

Note ! : The graduate shall not practice therapeutically or prophylactically. He/she may perform relaxing massage..

2) To obtain the 2nd degree the following are required:

• full appropriation of the procedures defined as “Yumeiho-standard”;
• knowledge about when and how the coxal dislocations are produced;
• fundamental knowledge on the stages of coxal dislocation;
• defining the Yumeiho therapy’s preventive and curative effects;
• indications and contraindications of application of the Yumeiho techniques;
• knowledge of anatomy to average.

Note ! : The graduate is entitled to practice prophylactic Yumeiho massage.

3) To obtain the 3rd degree (Yumeiho therapist) the following are required:

• meeting the conditions set out in section 2;
• mastery of special procedures and applications of Yumeiho therapy to people with special needs or anatomical particularities that require non-standard approaches (pregnant, hemiplegic, obese people, etc.);
• therapeutic applications of Yumeiho therapy. Indications and contraindications;
• minimum one year of practice under the direction of a physician and/or a trainer within the Yumeiho society;
• knowledge of the reaction mechanism due to the coxal bones position modification;
• knowledge of the ailing potential induced by the coxal dislocations; typology of the syndromes caused by the asymmetries of dominant position of the human body gravity center;
• knowledge of the manner of the therapeutic approach according to the dominant position of the gravity center;
• knowledge of the auxiliary signs and symptoms;
• recommendations and observations on the therapy application;
• above average knowledge of anatomy and pathology;
• written progress report, presenting the results obtained following the application Yumeiho therapy.

Note !: Graduate is entitled to practice Yumeiho therapy for prophylaxis and treatment (within the limits of competence and under qualified medical supervision!)

3 ‘) To obtain the 3rd degree with training right (instructor – Yumeiho therapist) the following are required:

• terms of section 3;
• minimum 3 years of perseverant practice of Yumeiho therapy;
• participation to at least two special stages of Yumeiho therapy instructors training;
• training of at least three persons (initiation course), whose review will be made by a minimum 4 degree instructor.

Note ! : The graduate is entitled to organize initiation Yumeiho therapy courses. He/she is not entitled to issue graduation documents. The examination of his students will be carried out by a higher degree instructor, with the proper competence – (minimum 4th degree with the training right up to the second degree inclusive, with competence to issue diplomas and/or graduation certificates).

4) To obtain the 4th degree the following are required:

• terms of section 3;
• minimum two years of therapeutic practice, after obtaining the 3rd degree;
• knowledge of Esperanto language: reading and speaking;
• above average level knowledge of anatomy and pathology;
• preparation of casuistic studies, activity reports, in Esperanto, and sending them to the IIPPM in Tokyo;
• developing of propagation, popularization of Yumeiho therapy activities;
• collaboration agreement with I.I.P.P.M of Tokyo.

Note ! : The graduate is entitled to practice Yumeiho both for prophylactic and therapeutic purposes.

4 ‘) To achieve the 4th degree, with the training right for 1st and 2nd degrees the following are required:

• terms of section 4;
• experience as an instructor for the 1st degree for minimum 2 years (minimum 50 graduates);
• training candidates for 2nd degree (minimum 3 persons);
• organizing of seminars and courses, both initiation and improvement stages in Yumeiho therapy.

Note ! : The graduate is entitled to organize and support the initiation courses (1st degree) and improvement (2nd degree). Issues diplomas edited by IIPPM (Tokyo), certified by S.R.Y. if the necessary competency is acquired.

5) To achieve 5th degree the following are required:

• terms of section 4;
• minimum two years of therapeutic practice;
• organizing seminars, studies and conferences having medical character in order to spread Yumeiho therapy among physicians;
• permanent collaboration with physicians in terms of study and practice of the therapy;
• statistical and scientific reports concerning their own practice;
• graduation of a special course.

5 ‘) To achieve the 5th degree – with training right for 1st , 2nd , 3rd , 3′rd degrees (Yumeiho Therapy Master degree) the following are required:

• terms of section 5;
• good results obtained by trained practitioners (student quality;
• for the 3`rd degree (training therapists – therapy instructors Yumeiho) the graduation of special training stages with Master Dr. Hashimoto Shigeru (director of IIPPM Tokyo – Japan) is required.

General notice:

The examinations from sections 4 and 5 are made in special conditions by delegate instructors and / or by the Director IIPPM in Tokyo.
Yumeiho therapy practitioners holding 3rd, 4th and 5th degrees, will be evaluated at least once every three years of practice. The assessment will be made by instructors and accredited delegates of IIPPM from Tokyo.
This Regulation is valid in Romania, in accordance with the law and the Statute of the Romanian Yumeiho Society.
In accordance with the international regulations proposed by IIPPM from Tokyo, this Regulation may be subject to changes, revisions, additions, etc. Equally, this regulation can be modified to accommodate the Romanian laws or special circumstances.
